Trinity College Ministry
exists to help young adults continue grow their faith. A faith rooted in Jesus that shapes who they are, how they live, and the choices they make every day. Our college ministry is more than just a gathering. It’s a space to wrestle honestly with doubt, dive deeply into Scripture, build meaningful friendships, and discover how following Jesus isn’t just something you did growing up — it’s something you choose daily.
ADOPT A COLLEGE STUDENT
The college years are full of opportunity and growth, but they can also feel overwhelming and spiritually isolating. Through our Adopt a College Student program, we’re intentionally keeping our students connected to their church family by surrounding them with prayer, encouragement, and simple acts of care. Individuals and families are paired with a student to offer support through notes, care packages, gift cards, and faithful prayer — reminding them that no matter how busy campus life becomes, their church is still walking alongside them.
THE WELL SMALL GROUP
The Well is a laid-back gathering for college students and young adults who want real connection and real conversations about faith. We meet monthly at local coffee shops and hangout spots to talk about life, ask honest questions, and grow together in a way that actually fits this season of life.
It’s a space to build genuine friendships, recharge spiritually, and remember you’re not navigating life alone. This group meets regularly on the second Tuesday of each month.
SUMMER TRIPS
Each summer, Trinity College Ministry offers unforgettable experiences designed to help students grow in faith, community, and service.
We partner with
Alabama Rural Ministries for a
week-long Mission Trip each summer in Tuskegee, AL and the surrounding area. Students serve on construction teams or help lead day camps for underprivileged children. This trip focuses on living out faith in action, helping students grow closer to God as they use their gifts to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world.
Frequently asked questions
what you need to know
WHO IS THE COLLEGE MINISTRY FOR?
Our College Ministry is for anyone in college or young adult (not everyone attends college) — whether you’re attending a local campus, commuting, living at home, or away at school but still consider Trinity your church home.
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF TRINITY TO PARTICIPATE?
Not at all. You don’t have to be a member — or even sure what you believe — to be part of this community. If you’re a college student looking for connection and encouragement, you’re welcome here.
WHAT DOES THE COLLEGE MINISTRY ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE?
We gather monthly for The Well, a relaxed meetup at local spots for conversation, connection, and spiritual growth. We also stay connected through our Adopt a College Student program, which pairs students with supportive church members who pray for and encourage them throughout the year. We also take various trips throughout the year to Rock the Universe or our summer mission trip.
WHAT IS THE ADOPT A COLLEGE STUDENT PROGRAM?
This program connects each student with a Trinity individual or family who offers encouragement through prayer, notes, care packages, or small gestures during the semester. It’s a simple but meaningful way to remind students they’re supported and remembered.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
Simply reach out through our website or contact the church office to let us know you’re interested. We’ll help you get connected right away.
