groups

At Trinity United Methodist Church, we believe life is better together. That is why our Groups are such a big part of who we are. When Jesus started the Church, He didn’t imagine a building, He imagined people connecting and growing together.
No matter where you are in your faith journey, there is a group for you—or we can help you start one. Groups are where we build Jesus-centered friendships, see God at work in our everyday lives, and take next steps together.
Come join a group and find your place today.

EXPERIENCE NEW LIFE
Church members who participate in groups often report feeling more connected, experiencing a greater sense of purpose, and truly belonging. Research across the country confirms this — people involved in small groups are more likely to feel connected, grow in their faith, and engage more fully in their church community.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Groups are for those who are looking for a deeper and richer connection with God, and for those wanting to meet some fun people along the way.
HOW OFTEN DO GROUPS MEET?
Most groups meet once a week, once every other week, or once a month but the schedule can vary depending on the group. You’ll find a rhythm that works for you.
WHERE DO THEY MEET?
Groups can meet in homes, at the church, or even at a local coffee shop — wherever the group feels comfortable and connected.
WHAT HAPPENS AT A GROUP?
Groups are all about connecting with others and growing in faith. You’ll have time to talk, pray, study God’s Word, share life, and build friendships. Sometimes groups will just be doing an activity together. Every group is a little different, so you’ll experience a mix of fun, learning, and support.
WHO WILL BE IN MY GROUP?
Your group will be made up of people who share your stage of life, interests, or location. Groups usually have 6–25 people, so there’s plenty of space to get to know each other and grow together.
Finding a place for you
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them".
