Trinity Student Ministry

Trinity Student Ministry exists to connect students to Jesus Christ and help them develop their own faith story! A story that inspires them to live out the Gospel every day. If you spend any time at our church, one thing will become immediately clear: we love students! They’re smart, funny, bold, and full of potential. We truly believe that the middle and high school students in our midst are world changers in the making.

That’s why student ministry is such a central part of what we do at Trinity. We work hard to create environments where students can engage in meaningful conversations about God, like asking questions, seeking answers, and learning to listen to His guidance in their lives. We also strive to provide a judgment-free space where students can feel comfortable connecting with peers and growing in their relationship with God.

WEDNESDAYS

Wednesdays are all about connection, growth, and fun! During the school year, students gather for small groups from 5:00–6:30 p.m. to hang out, study, and build community in the Youth Wing. From 6:30–7:30 p.m., we dive into a Bible study together and then break into small groups for discussion.

During the summer, Wednesdays turn into Destination Bible Study. Students meet in the MFH at 5:00 p.m. and head out at 5:30 p.m. to a fun destination like a baseball game, park, or a church member’s home. Each week includes a message from a youth leader, followed by dinner and hangout time at Uptown Station.

SUNDAYS

Sundays are a key part of life in Trinity Student Ministry! On Sunday mornings, students attend the 9:45 a.m. Contemporary Service in the Memorial Fellowship Hall (Building B). After the service, we gather in the Youth Room for about 10 minutes to talk through and process the message together.

On Sunday nights, students can expect the unexpected! We start with a light dinner from 5:30–6:00 p.m. in the Memorial Fellowship Hall, followed by an evening full of engaging activities. From hands-on experiences and friendly competitions to reflection time and worship nights, Sunday nights invite students to discover God from a fresh perspective.

SUMMER TRIPS

Each summer, Trinity Student Ministry offers unforgettable experiences designed to help students grow in faith, community, and service.

Oakwood Summer Camp is held annually at Blue Lake Methodist Camp near Andalusia, Alabama, and is open to students currently in grades 6–12. Camp includes engaging classes, powerful worship, fun games, free gym time, and dynamic speakers and worship bands. Additional details, including what to bring, are provided upon registration.

For our high school students, TSM also offers a week-long Mission Trip each summer. Students serve on construction teams or help lead day camps for underprivileged children. This trip focuses on living out faith in action, helping students grow closer to God as they use their gifts to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world.
